New Solo at SOL!

Put this in your diary! Come join me at my next solo show in the Project Room at Sol Gallery from 28 July until 9 August. Opening night is Wednesday 29 July at 6.30pm.

Our supermarket shelves may sparkle, but behind the shine lurk factory farms, overfished oceans, and plastic‑wrapped everything. These cheeky, thoughtful drawings are here to gently poke you in the ribs — a reminder that every item you toss into your trolley is a choice that shapes the world. A little food for thought.

Dodgy Melbourne wrapped up last Monday, and I just want to thank all of you who came along to the opening and the exhibition during the run - it was a very successful show! Over half the works sold, and are still selling online.

All of you made this exhibition a success. I am pleased so many of you enjoyed it, and enjoyed it enough to purchase works.

If you missed the show, you can still view the entire works online at my website, and if you wish to purchase contact me throught there or here.

Some of the demonstration works I completed durning the exhibition will soon be on show/sale at the Victorian Artistis Societies 'Collector's Delight' exhibition 15-24 May.

Dodgy Melbourne: Solo Exhibition

As part of the VAS Imprint 'What Remains', my solo exhibition explores the back streets, the alleys, quirky places and buildings, all found in our wonderful city of Melbourne. Using recycled paper created from my discarded and rejected artworks, I have drawn a series of works in ink exploring these hidden (and no so hidden) spots all around Melbourne and suburbs.

Join me on opening night, Thursday 16 April from 6pm. Come visit the show any time from 15 - 26 April at the Victorian Artist Society, 430 Albert Street, East Melbourne.

I am also offering a 2 day workshop, 'Paper Remains' on 16 and 17 April, where you will have the opportunity to meet The Pulp Professor from Dodgy Paper and create your own recycled paper.
I will explore with you the techniques of drawing onto your bespoke paper using inks, pencils and marker pens. Turn your old paper art into something new and unique.
Workshop places are limited, so contact VAS via the link below and book soon!

AON HairbyRicky He also knows a thing or two about art - his mother is Mary Slevin  is a highly regarded artist in Ireland. And Ricky decided to purchase a piece of my art to adorn the walls of his new studio!

So drop into AON, make an appointment with Ricky and view 'The Golden Bird' on the wall while you enjoy the massage chairs at the wash station!
