 I have been selected as one of the 80 finalists in the MSC Annual Maritime Art Prize!

Now in its nineteenth year, the MSC Maritime Art Awards and Exhibition promotes excellence in seafaring and maritime subjects in art, and artists enter their paintings responding to the theme 'The Relationship Between Humanity and the Sea'. Winners will be announced Thursday night October 14 and you are welcome to join in for the Opening of the exhibition and enjoy voting for your favorite art piece. This charming ink wash work by JH is of roof tiles she observed in the town of Koprivshtisa in Bulgaria. Created using washes of Art Spectrum Sepia and Burnt Sienna in on Arches 300gsm cold press paper. I think it is a very successful work.
